Mindfulness, living each moment with awareness and with compassion in a non-judgmental way. 

When we consciously stay present in each moment, in the here and now, we greatly reduce anxiety. It is when our mind wanders to the past and the future that stress and anxiety arise. By practicing compassion and self-compassion in each moment we cultivate positive connections with others and ourselves. Allowing each moment to just be with acceptance and without judgment frees us from the anxiety that arises from resistance to what we cannot control.
