By tuning in to how our breath feels at any given moment tells us a  lot about how we are feeling mentally and emotionally. This could be the first sign of feeling anxious.  It's our internal weather gauge. Mindfulness makes us aware of this. Once aware we can use our breathing techniques to induce calm and reduce anxiety.
